I began working in pool construction at the age of 15 in the Hollywood Hills, covering areas from Topanga to Laurel Canyon and up to Sunset Boulevard. I worked under my mentor, my uncle, where I learned to build pools and design yards ourselves. We only needed three subcontractors-rebar, granite, and plaster-handling everything else in-house. Back then, we only used plaster in a wide range of beautiful colors with no pebble pools in sight.

In 1995, I moved to Arizona and took on a superintendent role with a pool builder. By 2019, I had accumulated 39 years of experience in the industry, covering everything from pool service and repairs to remodeling and new construction.

Determined to embark on my own path, I decided to start a business focused on directly working with clients to design and build their dream pools and backyards. This led to the creation of SoCal Pool Construction, named in honor of where my journey began. Nothing brings me more joy than being on-site with my team and interacting with clients to turn their backyard dreams into reality.

Every pool we build is led by me, maintaining the hands-on exemplary SoCal building ethics that have always guided my work.
